Huge congratulations to Swarm member Shannon B. for an incredible week at the Tuscarawas County Fair! Shannon swept the ring, taking Junior Champion with HLF Castro Anthem, Senior Champion with HLF Video Raspberry, and capturing the ultimate prize—Supreme Champion across all dairy breeds—with Raspberry. Between dominating the show ring and somehow adding a new goat to the barn chaos, Shannon made it a fair week to remember!

Shoutout to Swarm member and photographer Samantha P. (Broken Lens Photography) for crushing it at the Tuscarawas County Fair! Entering only her third contest ever, Sam submitted five photos to the Senior Fair Fine Arts competition and landed her very first placements. Huge congratulations, Sam!

|
We are on the hunt for our next Swarm Stars and need photos of your incredible dogs to feature in the spotlight! We are building an official 2027 Medina Swarm Calendar to raise donations for facility equipment and upgrades. Send in your favorite camera-roll shots—whether it's an explosive start-line lead-out, a clean teeter execution, or a cozy post-run crate nap. Please email all submissions to Sharon Ziska by October 31 to help your pup secure a spot in the lineup! |

Remembering DelRae’s Fiery Celtic Queen, "Cara"
October 4, 2012-September 1, 2026
We're sending our love to longtime Swarm friend Jan N. after saying a heartbreaking goodbye to her fluffy love bug, Cara.
While Cara played in agility as a youngster—earning her ASCA Novice Jumpers, CPE CL1, and Level 2 Handler and Strategy titles—she eventually decided the trial ring wasn't for her and retired to full-time snuggling. Her absolute favorite things were cuddling up with her family and playing with her housemates, Molly and Angus, who are missing her terribly right now. |
